Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be warmly picked up and driven to the Hotel. After checking in, you can explore the city's local sights, if time permits or enjoy a leisurely day at your own pace. Overnight stay in Cochin. Sightseeing places of Cochin includes Dutch Palace, (Friday holiday) Jewish Synagogue, (Friday & Saturday Holidays) Jewish Street, St. Francis Church (Sunday holiday) and Chinese Fishing Nets. (Jewish Synagogue - Open: 10.00 am –12.00pm, 3.00pm –5.00pm. Closed on Friday /Saturday & Jewish holidays) (Dutch Palace - Open: 10.00am – 5.00pm. Closed on Fridays)
