Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities and taking some time to freshen up, begin your introduction to the beautiful city of Srinagar. Depending on your arrival time, proceed for local sightseeing covering some of the city's famous attractions. Visit the magnificent Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, known for their beautifully landscaped terraces, fountains, flowerbeds and spectacular views of Dal Lake and the surrounding mountains. You may also visit Chashme Shahi Garden, one of the smaller but picturesque Mughal gardens, and take a leisurely walk around the area. Later, explore the surroundings of Dal Lake and the local markets, where you can experience the traditional culture and handicrafts of Kashmir. In the evening, return to the hotel, enjoy dinner and relax after your journey. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

The 6 Nights 7 Days Kashmir tour is the middle-weight valley circuit, giving each of the four stops — Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg — enough time to actually explore rather than just pass through. You get a houseboat night on Dal Lake, the Apharwat Gondola at Gulmarg, the Betaab and Aru valleys at Pahalgam, and a glacier day out of Sonamarg.
It suits families and small groups who want the full Kashmir spread without the tight packing of a 4-day trip or the leisurely pace of an 8-day one. Palyatra manages the road logistics between the hill stations — the Sonamarg and Gulmarg roads close intermittently in winter — with private vehicles and vetted hotels.
Best time: April to October for the green season; January to February for snow at Gulmarg. Carry warm clothing for Gulmarg and Sonamarg regardless of month.
